Limitations list of Cigraph plug-in demo versions
Limitations of Cigraph plug-in demo versions
The demo versions of Cigraph plug-ins do not require hardware keys and enable you to try out the program functions.
Unlike the full version (which requires a hardware key), they have a number of limitations which allow them to be used while preventing access to or limiting certain characteristics.
Below is a list of the limitations for each demo product available.
ArchiQuant
- Fixed non-editable components database.
- In the demo version, you can import or create new components databases, but they cannot be used as active components database.
- The components database included can, however, be used to test all functions of the program.
ArchiTabula
- The electronic spreadsheets managed in the demo version are limited in size to a maximum of 10 columns by 10 rows.
- New electronic spreadsheets larger than the permitted size cannot be imported, modified or created.
ArchiPanel
- The demo version can be used to process quadrilateral surfaces only.
- The panels cannot be used to clad surfaces with shapes other than a quadrilateral.
ArchiRuler
- The demo version automatically sets the layer, pen and line type of the graphic primitives managed by ArchiRuler.
- In the demo version, these basic settings cannot be customized.
- The demo version does not provide access to the procedures included in the Tools category of ArchiRuler.
- The following functions are not available in the demo version:
- alignment;
- distribution;
- asymmetrical scaling;
- insulation;
- fill for multilayer walls;
- text on polyline;
- maximum fill area;
- fill with gradient/texture;
- zigzag.
ArchiMaterial
- The drag&drop technique can be used to assign materials to a surface for wall type elements only.
- The demo version provides access to two procedures for generating a texture image and for straightening an image, but does not enable the result to be saved.
ArchiTime
- Only one work session (the current one) can be monitored.
- The demo version does not enable the report associated with the current document to be saved and therefore monitoring to be continued over subsequent work sessions.
ArchiFacade
- The demo version provides access to image straightening procedures, but does not enable the result (the straightened image) to be saved.
ArchiTerra 3
- The Random Terrain, Rocks and Trees tools cannot be customized, in other words, the settings dialogs are active, but the element will always be generated using the default settings.
- In the demo version, the depth of digging cannot be configured.
- It will always have an average depth established by the program.
- In the demo version, the width of roads and pavements cannot be configured.
- They will always have an established width.
- The step of contour lines cannot be customized.
ArchiStair 2
- The trial version does not convert stairs created by the previous version.
- The Demo version allows you to access the dialog to create/modify any predefined type of stairs, but the resulting stairs will always be straight with one flight and a minimum of 10 steps.
- The Demo version allows you to access the dialog to create stairs with a custom shape from a series of selected fills and explore all the parts, but it will NOT generate custom stairs (no stairs are generated at the end of the procedure).
- The Demo version will NOT create custom profiles.
- The Demo version will NOT create custom balusters.
- When using the Demo version, the balustrade created by a polyline has a fixed height which cannot be modified.
ArchiTiles
- The demo version can be used to process quadrilateral surfaces only.
- Walls with shapes other than a quadrilateral cannot be tiled.
- The demo version does not enable the elevations on which the tiles have been laid to be straightened to obtain the final room/tiling.
ArchiMap
- The demo version can be used to process quadrilateral rooms only.
- Rooms with more than four walls cannot be processed (it is not possible to define an "L" shaped or freehand room).
- In the demo version, there is also a limitation in conversion of the 2D survey into ArchiCAD construction elements.
- Although ArchiCAD walls are created, the configurations of doors and windows are not considered (an empty hole is always inserted).
ArchiRotate
- The demo version can be used to create rotatable objects, but the functions associated with rotation of these elements in space does not enable the angle of rotation to be defined (fixed at 25°).
ArchiSketchy
- The demo version of ArchiSketchy does not enable more than 1000 primitives to be processed (in other words, the resulting freehand drawing will not contain more than 1000 graphic elements).
- The settings of the various styles cannot be customized by the user.
- In other words, the settings dialog is active, but the sketch will always be generated on the basis of the default settings.
ArchiForma 2
- The demo version automatically sets the material, layer and ID of the 3D primitives managed by ArchiForma.
- In the demo version, these basic settings cannot be customized.
- The elements generated by the demo version of ArchiForma are always in wire frame mode.
ArchiWall 2
- In the demo version of ArchiWall, the parameters for moulding and colored area elements are fixed (not customizable).
- The overlaid structures of walls generated with the demo version will always have a base level of +25 cm (from the base of the host wall) and a top level of -25 cm (from the top of the host wall).
